Beat the heat at Baloy Beach: Baloy Long Beach - Olongapo City, Subic Bay - April 2010

Subic bay was long recognized for it's deep and protected waters.
It's an extension of South China Sea. (c/o wiki)
*Get a quick vacation on any beachfront resorts situated on its long stretch beach.
*Perfect place for beach bums.
*Offers late-night entertainment.

 (DIY Trip - unplanned

 How we get there:
 1. Take a bus from Cubao QC bound for Olongapo City via Victory Liner. You can check details on their website : http://www.victoryliner.com/TerminalGuide.aspx
 2. Ride a jeep from Victory Liner Terminal in Olongapo City going to Baloy Beach.

What's there to look forward to?
1. It's a beach front community so, there are lots of affordable resorts, rooms, transient houses you can rent. You may need to confer with the rental fee. We managed to get a transient house with a room at affordable price.
2. If you are in a tight budget, there are local stores and markets available. You can just cook your own food and get to satisfy your taste.
3. There are bangkeros offering their services for island hopping. There is a lighthouse where you can get to see the blue water from above.
4. Here comes the nightlife! There are stores nearby that offer booze and karaoke right in front of the beach. Cheers!

my travel experience: 7/10

Enjoy your stay! :)
